Azerbaijan's Central Bank makes decision on discount rate

The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has decided to maintain the discount rate at 7%.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the CBA, the lower limit of the interest rate corridor remains at 6%, and the upper limit at 8%.

"This decision was made taking into account the correspondence of actual inflation to the forecast trajectory, comparison of projected inflation with the target (4±2%), possible consequences of recent global economic processes, domestic macroeconomic situation, as well as the transmission of monetary policy decisions," the information states.
