Azerbaijan approves new steps on the path to WTO accession

At the next meeting of the Commission on Azerbaijan's preparation for accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), current activities carried out in this direction were reviewed.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov on his account on the social network X.

"At the meeting of the Commission on preparation for accession to the World Trade Organization, we discussed with colleagues the work being carried out in this direction. Having considered such priorities as the development of competitive local production and the expansion of export opportunities, we outlined further steps in the negotiations that are being conducted as part of the process of joining the organization," noted the head of the department.
