Amazon shares continued the rally that began last week following the release of its second-quarter 2026 earnings report, which showed the strongest revenue growth for its division — the cloud platform Amazon Web Services — since 2021, Bloomberg reports.

According to the agency's calculations, it took Amazon more than two years to reach a $3 trillion market capitalization after the company first surpassed the $2 trillion mark in June 2024.

Wall Street analysts are optimistic about Amazon's long-term prospects. According to Bloomberg, experts forecast that the average target price for the company's shares over the next year will rise by an additional 14% (from the current trading level).
