The Air Navigation Service Provider "Azeraeronavigation" (AZANS), a CJSC of Azerbaijan Airlines within AZCON Holding, participated with its leadership in the international exhibition Airspace World 2026 and the CANSO Leadership Summit.

As part of the events, AZANS held a series of strategic meetings, presentations, and partnership initiatives aimed at strengthening international cooperation in the field of air navigation, enhancing operational resilience, and developing solutions for the airspace of the future.

Airspace World is considered one of the world's leading aviation platforms. The event was attended by representatives from more than 140 countries, over 200 companies, and more than 10,000 international participants. At Airspace World 2026, AZANS was represented with its own stand, showcasing Azerbaijan's air navigation system and the country's strategic transit potential to the international aviation community.

At Airspace World 2026, AZANS delivered a presentation at an international media briefing. The presentation covered the transformation of global air traffic flows against the backdrop of the changing geopolitical reality, structural changes on Europe–Asia routes, regional coordination issues, ensuring operational resilience under high transit traffic conditions, as well as measures being implemented for the effective management of growing air traffic volumes in Azerbaijan's airspace.

The AZANS leadership also participated in an international panel discussion on the topic "Strengthening Airspace Amid the Challenges of a New Geopolitical Era: Technology, Resilience, and Civil-Military Cooperation."

The panel addressed pressing issues related to modern airspace safety, operational flexibility, civil-military coordination, digital transformation, and the role of sustainable ATM solutions.

At Airspace World 2026, AZANS held a series of strategic meetings and announced new cooperation initiatives with international partners, including DFS Aviation Services (DAS), UK CAAI, NATS, and Rohde & Schwarz. The agreements reached cover the development of next-generation ATM systems at Azerbaijan's international and regional airports, digital transformation of air navigation infrastructure, enhancement of safety management systems (SMS), implementation of advanced international best practices, and improvement of operational resilience.

During the event, the AZANS delegation also held negotiations with representatives of ICAO, EUROCONTROL, HungaroControl, INDRA, Aireon, Think Research, ERA, Gesab, and other international organizations and companies, during which issues of regional coordination, digital integration, air traffic resilience, and prospects for further international cooperation were discussed.
