The 80th anniversary of outstanding director Ramiz Hasanoglu has been celebrated

The 80th anniversary of People's Artist of Azerbaijan, outstanding film and television director Ramiz Hasanoglu, has been celebrated.

On this occasion, a presentation of the film by director Imam Mejidov Sənin boyun ucadır ("Your Stature Is Tall"), dedicated to the jubilarian by the Baku TV channel, was held at the State Film Fund of Azerbaijan.

People's Artist of Azerbaijan, actor Haji Ismayilov shared his memories of working together with Ramiz Hasanoglu.

"I consider myself a fortunate actor because alongside theater and cinema, my life also included television work, the foundation of which was undoubtedly my collaboration with Ramiz Hasanoglu. It is always easy to work with him. We quickly find common ground. The television plays staged by Ramiz Hasanoglu on Azerbaijani television have truly won the love of audiences," he said.

People's Artist of Azerbaijan, actor Mabud Maharramov also highlighted the director's distinctive creative approach.

"Even the title of the film Sənin boyun ucadır speaks volumes. I think this picture will be extraordinary. Ramiz muallim was never afraid to invite lesser-known actors to work with him. Usually, directors prefer to collaborate with already well-known artists. However, Ramiz muallim always took risks and discovered new names," the actor emphasized.
