The 5th National "Yaylag" Festival has started in the Goygol district

The 5th National "Yaylag" Festival has begun in the Goygol district.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the event kicks off at the "Khan Yurdu" ethno-settlement, located on the territory of the Yeni Zod village of the Goygol district.

The festival is held with the support of the Executive Authority of the Goygol district, as well as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), the World Ethnosport Confederation and other partner organizations, on the joint initiative of the "Javad Khan" History and Culture Foundation and "KAP.AZ" LLC.

In the "Khan Chadyry" at the "Khan Yurdu" ethno-settlement, a carpet weaving exhibition, a "Crafts Corner," national sports (archery, equestrian sports, zorkhana, etc.), ethnosport archery training, a children's corner, a concert program, ashug music, folklore, performances, a pacer horse exhibition, tightrope walker and fire-eater performances, a "Yaylag Feast" and other thematic areas have been organized.

Already from the first day of the festival, an influx of tourists to the "Khan Yurdu" settlement has been observed.

It should be noted that the official opening ceremony of the festival will take place tomorrow.
