Why iPhones with only eSIM are a dangerous trap for buyers## Detailed response:

Starting from iPhone 14, Apple has been gradually introducing smartphones without the familiar physical SIM card slot. Initially, such devices were sold only in the USA, but with the release of iPhone 17, smartphones supporting exclusively eSIM have become available even in Dubai.
At first glance, this looks like a confident step towards complete digitalization, however, not all users are ready to give up the familiar option. This is reported by the AppleInsider.ru Zen channel. There is a price difference between the models, but it is small. For instance, iPhones with SIM + eSIM support cost approximately two thousand rubles more (about 41 manats) than devices designed only for eSIM. Depending on the city and seller, this difference may be greater or smaller, but overall remains noticeable. At first glance, the savings seem obvious, but upon closer examination, things are not so simple.
The main reason is limited compatibility. Today, eSIM is supported only by current iPhone models, flagship smartphones from Samsung and Google, as well as a small portion of Xiaomi devices.
