Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci announce their separation

Hollywood director Tim Burton and Italian actress and model Monica Bellucci announced the end of their relationship. In a joint statement to AFP, the couple emphasized that they parted "with enormous respect and deep care for each other."

Burton and Bellucci's romance was confirmed in 2023. Later, the actress received a role in the horror comedy film "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," a sequel to the cult 1988 blockbuster. In the film, Bellucci played Delores – an evil entity who decided to take revenge on her ex-husband, played by Michael Keaton.

This is not the first significant breakup for Monica: the actress has two children from her 14-year marriage to French actor Vincent Cassel, which ended in 2013. Tim Burton, before meeting Bellucci, was in a long-term relationship with British actress Helena Bonham Carter; they also have two children together. The director is known for his unique style and films that often combine elements of gothic, comedy, and fantasy.

As previously reported, Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton's romance became known after the French newspaper Paris Match featured a photo of them on a date on its cover. Soon after, images of the couple kissing appeared online.
