At least five people were killed as a result of a U.S. and Israeli strike on the Mahshahr petrochemical special economic zone (SEZ) in Iran, and another 170 people were injured.
This was reported by the Iranian agency Fars, citing local authorities.
"Five people were killed as a result of the enemy's strike on a number of companies in the Mahshahr petrochemical special economic zone," the report states.
It is noted that another 170 people were injured. They have already received medical treatment and were discharged from local hospitals, Fars adds.
