The President of Pakistan has contracted coronavirus

President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has contracted COVID-19.
This was reported by Geo TV channel, citing the politician's attending physician Asim Hussain.
According to the doctor, Zardari tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed in isolation. "Due to the president's health condition, all meetings with him are strictly prohibited," Hussain noted. He added that a medical team is monitoring the president's condition around the clock.
According to the TV channel, representatives of Pakistan's leadership, including Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, have already conveyed their wishes for a speedy recovery to the head of state.
The day before, local media reported that the president had been hospitalized in the city of Karachi.
