The new supreme leader of Iran has kept in place all officials appointed by his father
Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has issued a decree stating that all officials appointed by his late father will remain in their positions and continue to carry out their duties.
"In response to inquiries from the heads of certain institutions and officials who were directly appointed by the fallen leader Ali Khamenei, I hereby declare that at this time none of them require reconfirmation of their appointments, and they should continue their work based on the directives they received during the lifetime of this great man (referring to the late Supreme Leader - editor's note)," reads the text of the decree published on the Telegram channel of Iran's new Supreme Leader.
