The Kremlin reacted to the slap given to Macron by his wife

Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation surrounding French President Emmanuel Macron, noting that family conflicts should not be brought into the public space.

In an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin, Peskov emphasized that the private life of the Macron couple should not become a subject of discussion:

"If a wife slaps her husband - she, as a rule, doesn't do it without reason. But we should not interfere in this."
