The death toll from the fire in a hypermarket in the city of Kut in eastern Iraq has reached 63.

A massive fire engulfed the five-story shopping center building that housed the hypermarket.

According to a representative of the city health department who spoke to the agency, the identities of 59 victims have been established, while one body remains unidentified.

Additionally, the bodies of other victims remain under the rubble.
