Schoolboy shot his grandmother and grandfather when they forbade him from using his phone

In Brazil, a 13-year-old boy killed his grandmother and grandfather after a domestic conflict. This was reported by the publication Ultimosegundo.

The incident occurred in the municipality of Francisco Beltran. According to media reports, the schoolboy first wounded his grandfather, and then fired five bullets into his grandmother's chest. The elderly man managed to call the police, and despite being wounded, engaged in a struggle with his grandson and disarmed him.

A source told the publication that the relatives had been raising their grandson since he was seven years old. The conflict that led to the tragedy, according to preliminary data, began with prohibiting the child from using a mobile phone. The schoolboy fired from a pistol that belonged to his uncle. Police determined that to obtain the weapon, the boy broke into his relative's car.

After the incident, the schoolboy hid in the forest, but was quickly found and detained.
