Qatar Comments on Multi-Million Gift for Trump

The Qatari authorities have not yet made a final decision on giving US President Donald Trump an ultra-luxurious Boeing 747-8 aircraft worth $400 million as a gift. This was stated by Qatar's press attaché in the US, Ali Al-Ansari, in an interview with Politico.

"Currently, this issue is under consideration, but a final decision has not yet been made," the diplomat clarified.

Earlier, information appeared that the royal family of Qatar might present Trump with a Boeing 747-8 jet as early as next week during the American leader's visit to the country. According to this information, the aircraft will be transferred to the president before the end of his term, after which the aircraft will become the property of Trump's presidential library.
