Over 600 people suffered due to abnormal heat in South Korea

Due to extreme heat since the beginning of summer in South Korea, more than 600 people have sought medical attention with symptoms of heat stroke. This was reported by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).

According to the agency, extreme heat persists throughout South Korea, covering the country a month earlier than expected. The daily average temperature has reached +35°C.

According to the agency, since the beginning of June, about 633 people have suffered from heat strokes. Another five people did not survive.

Since June 28, an average of about 50 people have been seeking medical attention daily with symptoms of heat exhaustion, sunstroke, and cramps. According to the information, about 77.4% of all victims are men.
