Named cause of death of Yuri Nikolaev

Soviet and Russian TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev has died after a prolonged lung illness. This was reported by the Telegram channel Shot.

According to sources, the People's Artist of Russia was a heavy smoker for many years. Several years ago, doctors diagnosed him with lung cancer, and in 2024 he also contracted the coronavirus infection.

News of Nikolaev's death was reported earlier. The TV presenter was 76 years old. A few hours before his death, he was urgently taken to one of the capital's hospitals.
