Iran officially confirmed the death of high-ranking officials

Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) officially announced the death of senior commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in the department's account on the social network X.

"With deep sorrow and unwavering pride, we announce the martyrdom of senior IRGC commanders - Major General Mohammad Bagheri (Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces), Major General Gholam Ali Rashid (Commander of the Central Headquarters "Khatam al-Anbiya") and Major General Hossein Salami (Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC) - as well as a number of scientists, fellow citizens and especially women and children.

The unjustly spilled blood in this attack will not go unanswered. Retribution is now a sacred mission actively carried out by the Iranian Armed Forces, and will continue until justice prevails," the publication states.
