In Japan, a political party will be led by artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) will become the new leader of the Japanese political party "Path to Revival." This was reported by TASS, citing Agence France-Presse (AFP).
According to journalists, the previous party leader Shinji Ishimaru left his post due to poor results in the July elections to the upper house of the Japanese parliament. His successor was chosen to be 25-year-old graduate student Koki Okumura, who decided to transfer authority to AI. The student himself will act as an assistant to the new leader.
Okumura added that the details of implementing AI into the party's work have not yet been determined. However, according to him, artificial intelligence will not define the nature of political activities of faction members. Instead, the technology will perform tasks such as, for example, distributing resources among members of the union, the graduate student clarified.
