Apple will present three new products this week

Apple is preparing to introduce updated versions of some of its devices this week ending October 19, including the iPad Pro, Vision Pro, and possibly the base 14-inch MacBook Pro model. This was reported by well-known Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman in the new issue of his newsletter Power On, writes MacRumors.
According to his information, all three devices will most likely receive updated next-generation chips - M5. Gurman does not expect a full-scale presentation event: announcements will likely be made through press releases on the Apple Newsroom website and possibly with short promotional videos on YouTube. Since Monday (October 13) is a holiday in the US (Columbus Day) and Canada (Thanksgiving), the news publication may be postponed to Tuesday or later.
The new iPad Pro has previously appeared in leaks, including several unboxing videos from Russian YouTube bloggers. They confirmed the presence of the M5 chip and an increased minimum RAM of 12 GB. No significant design changes are expected.
Testing of the M5 chip in the Geekbench 6 benchmark, shown in one of the videos, demonstrates the preservation of a nine-core configuration: three performance and six efficiency cores. The test results indicate a 12% increase in processor performance compared to the previous generation and up to 36% increase in graphics performance.
The updated version of the Vision Pro headset is also expected to run on the M5, although there were earlier rumors about the M4 chip. A R2 coprocessor is likely to appear to improve input processing, however, it will be manufactured using TSMC's new 2nm process, which is not scheduled to start until the second half of next year.
The third new product will be an updated 14-inch MacBook Pro, the key change of which will be the transition to the M5 chip.
