Apple will donate money to victims of Hurricane "Melissa"

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the tech giant will make a donation to help those affected by the devastating Hurricane Melissa.

In a message posted on social media, Cook expressed sympathy for those who found themselves at the epicenter of the natural disaster.

"Our hearts go out to those who have suffered from the destruction caused by Hurricane Melissa," Cook stated. - "Apple will make a donation to provide assistance."

Hurricane Melissa, which hit the Caribbean this week, has led to catastrophic destruction, massive flooding, and human casualties in territories such as Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti.

This is not the first time Apple has provided assistance during natural disasters. Previously, the company has already made donations to the Red Cross to support hurricane relief efforts.

Hurricane Melissa made landfall in late October. At the time of writing this news, it was recognized as the most powerful hurricane of 2025.
