Apple's first foldable iPad release date revealed

According to well-known Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to release its first foldable iPad in 2028.
BAKU.WS reports with reference to "MacRumors" that before this event, a foldable iPhone presentation will take place in 2026.
Multiple sources have confirmed that Apple's first foldable iPhone will arrive in 2026 and will be part of the iPhone 18 series.
A foldable iPad or MacBook was initially expected to come before the iPhone, with release dates ranging from 2026 to 2028. It was also unclear whether it would be a foldable iPad or a MacBook in a new form factor, but now it appears that all information about the larger foldable device refers to the same product. The screen size of the foldable iPad when unfolded is estimated to be between 18-20 inches.
Kuo also reported that Apple will use ultra-thin protective glass for both foldable devices – iPhone and iPad.
Analysts predict that Apple will sell between 8 million to 10 million foldable iPhones in 2026, with this figure expected to increase to 25 million in 2027.
