Apple has released an expensive accessory for carrying iPhone
Apple introduced a premium accessory - iPhone Pocket, a phone pouch for smartphones, developed in collaboration with Japanese fashion house Issey Miyake. The product is presented in two versions and will go on sale November 14, announced by Apple's press center.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to foreign media, the short version is priced at $149, while the long version costs from $229. The accessory is positioned as a design solution that allows carrying an iPhone in a bag format.
According to Miyake Design Studio director Yoshiyuki Miyamae, the design "reflects the connection" between the user and the device, as well as the pursuit of versatility and minimalism.
iPhone Pocket will be available in limited quantities, which may stimulate demand among collectors and fans of collaborations. It is noted that the bag is made using 3D-knitting technology.
Customers will be able to purchase the iPhone Pocket from November 14 only in select Apple Store locations and on the company's website in France, China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
