Apple has canceled the release of iPhone 19
Apple does not plan to release the iPhone 19 in 2027. This was reported by the Korean publication ETNews, citing Omdia analyst Ho Mu Yel.
According to him, in 2027 the company will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first iPhone's release, so the next model will be called the iPhone 20.
It is noted that Apple has taken a similar step in 2017, when it celebrated the 10th anniversary of the iconic smartphone and skipped the release of the iPhone 9. Instead, the iPhone 8 and iPhone X were presented in the same year.
The launch of the iPhone 17 Pro Max became an important milestone for the entire lineup: the company updated the design for the first time in a long time, improved the cameras, implemented a unique front camera, and increased performance. Additionally, the device received one of the most capacious batteries in iPhone history, although some nuances should be considered before purchasing.
