Another country has experienced a strong earthquake

Earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 recorded off the coast of Indonesia.

This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The epicenter was located 12 km southeast of the city of Banda Aceh with a population of about 250 thousand people. The focus was at a depth of 10 km.

No information about casualties or destruction has been received. No tsunami threat was declared.
