Andriy Yermak has resigned from the position of head of the Office of the President of Ukraine
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak wrote a letter of resignation.
As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by "RBC-Ukraine" with reference to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The head of state noted that when all attention is focused on diplomacy and defense in the war, internal strength is needed - the foundation of external unity and Ukraine's relations with the world. According to him, to maintain internal strength, there should be no reasons to be distracted by anything other than the defense of Ukraine. Also, partners should have no questions for Ukraine.
"Therefore today - the following internal decisions. First - there will be a reset of the Office of the President of Ukraine. The head of the office Andriy Yermak wrote a letter of resignation," he added.
The President thanked Yermak for always representing the Ukrainian position on the negotiation track "exactly as it should be". It has always been a patriotic position. "But I want there to be no rumors and speculation. Regarding the new head of the office, tomorrow I will hold consultations with those who can lead this institution," Zelensky said.
The president also clarified that at the upcoming negotiations with partners, Ukraine will be represented by the Chief of General Staff Andriy Hnatov, diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, and representatives of intelligence.
Note that earlier Andriy Yermak underwent searches as part of the "Midas" operation to uncover corruption schemes in Ukraine's energy sector.
