The Strangest Place on Earth Discovered

Scientists have discovered an unusual area in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean, named Point Nemo.
This region is considered the pole of inaccessibility - the place most remote from any land. It is characterized by the absence of landmarks and almost unchanging light levels throughout the day. Point Nemo was discovered in 1992 and still remains the most inaccessible point on Earth.
The name "Nemo" in Latin means "nobody" or "nothing." No sea routes pass through this area, nor do airplanes fly over it. In addition, a high level of ultraviolet radiation has been recorded here due to the nearby ozone hole, reports Techinsider.
In 1997, mysterious sound signals were recorded near Point Nemo. Scientists suggest that their source could have been an ice mass that broke off from Antarctica.
