Hidden function found in iPhone 17
Internet speed on iPhone 17 turned out to be 40 percent higher than on other Apple smartphones.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to the British tabloid The Daily Express, the publication cites a study by Ookla, according to which the iPhone 17 series devices significantly outperform the iPhone 16 in terms of internet connection. Moreover, the difference is noticeable when working with different networks and in different countries.
Experts explained the speed improvement with the new N1 chip installed in the iPhone 17. The Daily Express journalists noted that this feature is a hidden function of the new smartphones that actually works.
"Worldwide, the median download and upload speeds with the N1 processor were 40 percent higher than the previous model," said Ookla expert Luke Kiho. According to him, immediately after the iPhone 17 release, specialists noticed this effect and associated it with the new smartphones, and subsequent reports confirmed the superiority of the iPhone 17 over other devices.
