Ancient tectonic plate at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean may reveal secrets of a lost civilization

While exploring the floor of the Pacific Ocean, geologists discovered a previously unidentified fragment of an ancient tectonic plate. Experts suggest that it may be connected to a long-vanished civilization that existed during the time of the dinosaurs.
Analysis of the Pacific seafloor area showed that this ancient plate fragment is not unique. It is believed that it, like other artifacts, submerged underwater back in the era of dinosaurs. The area resembles a fossilized form of the seabed, but according to scientists, it was created not by natural means. Preliminary data indicates that the plate sank about 250 million years ago.
The discovery site is located in the area of the East Pacific Rise, at the junction of two tectonic plates in the southeastern part of the Pacific Ocean. If scientists obtain accurate data after detailed study, this could fundamentally change our understanding of the internal structure of the Earth.
