The 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal match between Spain and Belgium has taken place.

The game was held at SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, USA). "La Furia Roja" celebrated a 2:1 victory.

Spain's midfielder Fabián Ruiz opened the scoring in the 30th minute. In the 41st minute, Belgium's forward Charles De Ketelaere leveled the score. In the second half, in the 71st minute, Belgium's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was substituted due to injury, replaced by Senne Lammens. Midfielder Mikel Merino put Spain ahead in the 88th minute after a mistake by Lammens.

In the 2026 World Cup semifinal, Spain will face France.
