The Mexico national team thrashed the Czech Republic in the final, 3rd round of the group stage of the FIFA World Cup.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the Group A match at the "Azteca" stadium in Mexico City ended with a score of 3:0.
For the Mexicans, Mateo Chaves scored in the 55th minute, and six minutes later Julián Quiñones doubled Mexico's lead. Álvaro Fidalgo completed the rout by scoring in the 90+4th minute.
Mexico, having won all three matches in the group stage of the World Cup, earned 9 points and advanced to the knockout stage as group winners. The Czech Republic earned 1 point and was eliminated from the 2026 World Cup.
