UEFA Conference League: "Araz-Nakhchivan" lost to "Omonia"

"Araz-Nakhchivan" suffered a defeat in the first match of the III qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

As Report informs, the team led by head coach Elmar Bakhshiyev hosted Cyprus's "Omonia" in Baku.

The match at "Dalga Arena" ended with the visitors' victory with a score of 4:0.

Loizos Loizou scored for the visitors in the 13th and 22nd minutes, Evandro in the 55th minute, and Stefan Jovetic in the 58th minute.

The return match will take place on August 14 in Nicosia.

It should be noted that the winner of this pair will meet in the playoffs with the loser from the pair PAOK (Greece) - "Wolfsberger" (Austria).
