The stadium was engulfed in smoke from kebab during the "Turan Tovuz" - "Sumgayit" match
The Round XXVII match of the Misli Premier League football between "Turan Tovuz" and "Sumgayit" turned out to be a real test for both players and fans - but not at all because of the intensity of the battle on the pitch.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the city stadium in Tovuz, where the match was held, was literally engulfed in thick smoke. As it turned out, the culprit behind the unusual incident was one of the restaurants located in close proximity to the arena. Gusts of wind caught the aroma and smoke from grilling kebab and carried them straight onto the stadium stands. Although the incident did not seriously affect the course of the game, a very unusual atmosphere prevailed in the stands.
The commentator, who was providing live coverage of the match, admitted that he could barely make out the players on the pitch due to the smoke.
It should be noted that the match ended with a 2:1 victory for the home team.
