The official logo of the U17 World Wrestling Championship has been presented

The official logo of the World Wrestling Championship for athletes under 17 (U17), which will be held in Baku at the National Gymnastics Arena from July 27 to August 2, has been approved.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the logo was developed based on a visual concept that combines the sporting spirit of the competition, its international character, and the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.

At the center of the logo are stylized figures of two wrestlers, symbolizing wrestling, rivalry, and the universal language of sport. The dynamic composition reflects the main principles of wrestling — strength, perseverance, and fair competition.

The predominant blue color in the logo is one of the key elements of the corporate identity of United World Wrestling (UWW). The organization widely uses a blue-and-white color palette in the design of world championships, emphasizing their visual identity.

The ornaments on the outer ring of the logo are inspired by the traditions of Karabakh carpet weaving. The national patterns symbolize the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, the ancient Karabakh school of carpet weaving, and the promotion of national art on the world sports stage. Thus, the logo emphasizes the unity of an international sporting event with the national and cultural values of the country.

It is noted that hundreds of promising young athletes from various countries will compete at the first world wrestling championship of this year.
