The mascots for the upcoming III CIS Countries Games in Azerbaijan have been revealed

The mascots of the III CIS Countries Games, which will be held in Azerbaijan this year, have been revealed.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to AZERTAJ, the mascots were presented to the public at the first press conference dedicated to the III CIS Countries Games.
The symbols of the games are energetic and friendly leopards – Bebir and Leyla. Created in the image of the Caucasian leopard, they embody the rich nature, strength, and hospitality of Azerbaijan.
The Caucasian leopard has inhabited the picturesque corners of our country since ancient times. This rare animal is included in the "Big Five" Program, which covers the protection of 5 fauna species facing the threat of extinction in the Caucasus, in the Red Book of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and in the "Endangered Species" category of the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List.
As a reminder, the III CIS Countries Games will cover 23 sports. The competitions will be held from September 28 to October 8 in Ganja, Mingachevir, Gabala, Sheki, Goygol, Yevlakh, and Khankendi.
