The fifth day of WUF13 has started in Baku
The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) continues its work in Baku.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the day's packed program includes sessions on a wide range of relevant topics: "Philanthropy and Civil Society," "The Middle East Crisis and Its Global Impact on Housing and Urban Development," "Developing Azerbaijan's First National Sustainability Standard: The Sustainable Practices Standard," "Mayors' Digital Cooperation (MDC): Opening of the Assembly," as well as "Building Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities through South-South and Triangular Cooperation: Innovative Solutions for the Rapidly Urbanizing Global South."
It should be noted that more than 40,000 participants from 182 countries have registered for the 13th session of WUF13.
The forum launched on May 17 and will run through May 22.
WUF13 is being held within the framework of Azerbaijan's close cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) and is aimed at international exchange of experience in the fields of sustainable urban development, smart cities, and innovative urban solutions.
