I assumed that my team might perform poorly in the match against "Sabah".

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by the head coach of Aghdam's "Karabakh" Gurban Gurbanov at a press conference after the postponed match of the 1st round of the Azerbaijan Misli Premier League against the Masazir club.

"I congratulate the opponent on the victory. I anticipated such a result. Because lately our team has been expending a lot of energy. Injuries and illnesses of some players created certain problems. Of course, all this should not be a reason for defeat. On the contrary, this result should become additional motivation for the team," the specialist stated.

Note that "Sabah" defeated "Karabakh" with a score of 2:1.
