The coach of "Kapaz" responded to fans' calls for resignation

After the match of the V round of the Azerbaijan Premier League between "Kapaz" and "Gabala," a conflict occurred between the head coach of "Kapaz" Adil Shukurov and the team's fans.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, fans dissatisfied with the result began chanting calls for Shukurov's resignation. The head coach could not contain his emotions and entered into a verbal altercation with the fans, emotionally responding to their shouts.

At the post-match press conference, A.Shukurov commented on the incident.

"I did not attack the fans. They behaved disrespectfully, and I responded to that. People should not make it personal. Besides, the decision about who goes where is made by management. I told the fan that sending me to resign is not within his competence. As for my resignation, it is quite real. We will probably say goodbye soon," said the coach.

Note that in the last round, "Kapaz" lost away to "Gabala" with a score of 0:3.
