"Qarabag" and "Neftchi" fined for incidents in derby
The Disciplinary Committee of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has fined the clubs "Qarabag" and "Neftchi".
As reported by BAKU.WS, the fines are related to incidents between these teams during Matchday VIII of the Azerbaijan Premier League.
The Agdam club incurred a penalty of 5,000 manats due to mass insults by fans directed at the opposing team, while Baku-based "Neftchi" is required to pay 3,000 manats for the use of pyrotechnics by fans and 700 manats for yellow cards received by five players.
In addition, "Neftchi" press secretary Asef Zeynalli received a warning for minor damage to the stadium. The damage was paid for on the spot.
As a reminder, the Azerbaijani derby ended with a score of 3:3.
