Premier League: "Qarabag" confidently defeated "Shamakhy"

The 1st round of the Misli Premier League of Azerbaijan in football has concluded.

In the final match, "Qarabag" hosted "Shamakhy".

The match, held at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium, ended with a 3:1 victory for the Agdam club.

In the 28th minute, Renaldo Cefas put "Qarabag" ahead. In the 43rd minute, "Shamakhy" midfielder Edgar Adilkhanov leveled the score. In the 59th minute, the visitors' player Ricardo Apolinario scored an own goal. In the 85th minute, the "horsemen's" winger Alexei Kashchuk sealed the final result.

It should be noted that in the previous matches of the round, "Turan Tovuz" defeated "Gabala" (1:0), "Sabah" beat "Kapaz" (2:0), "Zira" overcame "Shafa" (2:0), and "Neftchi" prevailed over "Sumgayit" (3:1). The match between "Araz-Nakhchivan" and "Imishli" ended in a draw (0:0).
