Minister of Economy and President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Mikayil Jabbarov congratulated Azerbaijani wrestlers who successfully performed at the World Championship in Serbia.

He shared the corresponding publication on his account on the social network X.

"Historic achievement of our Greco-Roman wrestlers - 2 gold and 1 bronze medals at the U-23 World Championship. We congratulate our team's coaching staff, who showed their best results in terms of medal quality, our medal-winning wrestlers and their family members, and wish them bright victories in future competitions," M. Jabbarov noted.

It should be noted that at the U-23 World Championship held in Novi Sad, Serbia, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers Ziya Babashov (63 kg) and Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) won gold medals, while Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) won bronze.
