Marko Janković transferred from "Qarabağ" to a Turkish club
"Qarabag" has lost yet another footballer.
As reported by prosport.az, Marko Janković will continue his career at Turkish club "Çorum," which earned promotion to the Süper Lig at the end of the season.
A contract on a "2+1" scheme has been signed with the 30-year-old midfielder. This explains his absence from the friendly match between "Qarabag" and "Zira" (4:3). The Turkish club also paid a transfer fee to the Agdam-based club for the player, whose contract was set to run until the summer of 2027.
It is worth noting that former "Qarabag" goalkeeper Ibrahim Šehić also plays for "Çorum."
As a reminder, last season M. Janković, who represents the Montenegrin national team and also holds Serbian citizenship, made 44 appearances for "Qarabag," scoring five goals and providing four assists. He joined the Agdam-based club in the summer of 2022 from Israeli side "Hapoel" (Tel Aviv). "Qarabag" has already signed Portuguese central midfielder Samuel Lobato to fill his position.
It is also expected that Leandro Andrade will continue his career at Ukrainian club "Polissya."
In addition, there are reports of interest from Scottish club "Celtic" in Camilo Durán.
