Football club "Karabakh" set a new record in the Azerbaijan Cup.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the official website of the Professional Football League, the Agdam club has reached the tournament final for the 12th time in its history, surpassing "Neftchi," which managed to do so 11 times.

Gurban Gurbanov's team defeated "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the semi-final with a score of 0:1, 3:0.

The Agdam representative has won the cup in 8 of the previous 11 finals (in the seasons 1993, 2005/2006, 2008/2009, 2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2021/2022, 2023/2024) and lost in three (in the seasons 1995/1996, 1997/1998 and 1999/2000).
