Joyful news for "Qarabag" fans in connection with the Champions League

Azerbaijani football club "Qarabag" may participate in the main stage of the UEFA Champions League next season without going through qualification rounds.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Football Meets Data portal, for this to happen, clubs ahead of the "horsemen" in the rankings need to become champions of their national leagues.

Currently, there are nine teams ahead of "Qarabag" in the rankings, of which only two occupy first places in their championships - Austrian "Salzburg" and Croatian "Dinamo" (Zagreb).

Note that to receive a direct entry, the Agdam club must also become the champion of the Azerbaijan Premier League. Currently, "Qarabag" is in second place in the standings, trailing the league-leading "Sabah" by four points.
