Former Azerbaijani national football team player Jeyhun Sultanov has been appointed president of the football club "Araz-Nakhchivan".
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the FC press service, the corresponding decision was made at a board meeting.
The meeting also discussed the team's preparation for the new season, work on establishing an academy, and the transfer campaign of the main team.
During his playing career, Jeyhun Sultanov played for the clubs "Farid", "Neftchi", "Dinamo" (Baku), "Baku", "Khazar-Lankaran", "Kapaz", "Sumgayit", "Gabala", and the Iranian club "Machine Sazi". After the end of his sports career, he held managerial positions at the clubs "Sumgayit", "Neftchi", and "Keshla".
