Qarabag's head coach Gurban Gurbanov called the upcoming match with Dutch Ajax important for the team in the 6th round of the Champions League main stage.

As Report informs, the coach of the Azerbaijani club stated this at a press conference.

"This is an important match for us. We had little time to prepare. We need to be extremely attentive on the field," he said.

Gurbanov also noted Ajax's serious attitude: "The opponent is looking to secure their first victory in the group. They are preparing very seriously for this meeting. We want to achieve our goal and make our fans happy."

The head coach also touched on the team's successful performance in the main stage of the Champions League this season:

"This is a very good result. We don't want to stop, we want to move forward. I am very satisfied with the achieved results and the play of my footballers. We need to win again to become the best team."
