The start of Azerbaijani boxers at the U-15 European Championship in Budva (Montenegro) proved successful.

As Report informs, on the first day of the competition, three members of the Azerbaijan national team immediately defeated their opponents.

Eljan Musazade (50 kg) won against Devidas Sisikis from Lithuania in the 1/16 finals with a score of 5:0 (30:24, 30:26, 30:26, 30:25, 30:26). In the next fight, he will face Vladimir Khvistani (Georgia).

Nasrin Abdullazade (40 kg) also won her first match, defeating Hungarian Eszter Moloshani in the 1/8 finals – 3:2 (29:28, 29:28, 30:27, 28:29, 28:29). In the quarterfinals, Abdullazade will meet Esily Yildirim (Turkey) in the ring.

Leyla Mahmudlu (50 kg) defeated Alexandra Sinagraya (Italy) in the 1/8 finals with a score of 3:1 (29:27, 29:27, 29:27, 27:29, 28:28). She will have her second fight against Adriana Munos Gines (Spain).

It should be noted that the European Championship, which involves 369 boxers from 32 countries, will end on October 25.
