Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Islam Abbasov won a bronze medal at the European Championship in the Albanian capital Tirana.

As Report informs, the athlete, competing in the 87 kg weight category, won the bronze medal match against Turkish wrestler Dogan Kaya (5:1).

Earlier, Azerbaijani national team member Rashad Mammadov (55 kg) won a bronze medal.

It should be noted that today Beka Kandelaki (130 kg) will also compete in the bronze medal match of the tournament.
