Azerbaijani karate fighter became the winner of the Islamic Games

Azerbaijani karateka Irina Zaretskaya (68 kg) became the winner of the VI Islamic Solidarity Games taking place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

As reported by BAKU.WS, with reference to Oxu.Az, our athlete defeated Turkish competitor Eda Eltemur with a score of 5:3 in the final.

It should be noted that Nuran Rzazade, representing Azerbaijan in the 67 kg weight category, lost to Abdul Wahab Rashidov (Uzbekistan) in the 1/16 finals.
