Azerbaijani judoka Zelim Tskaev won bronze at the European Championship

Azerbaijani judoka Zelim Tskaev (81 kg) won a bronze medal at the European Championship held in Tbilisi.

As Report informs, the athlete defeated Belgium's Matthias Casse in the bronze medal match.

Thus, Tskaev climbed to the third step of the podium.

It should be noted that the European Championship will conclude on April 19. Earlier, Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) won a silver medal, while Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) and Turan Bayramov (66 kg) won bronze medals. Azerbaijan is represented at the tournament by 15 judokas.

Other representatives of ours who joined the competition today — Sudaba Agayeva (70 kg), Omar Rajabli (81 kg), and Murad Fatiyev (90 kg) — finished the competition without medals.
